Xerox Expands Unified Market Approach with Broader A3 Portfolio Following Lexmark Acquisition

Xerox has further unified its print go-to-market structure, bringing the Xerox and Lexmark sales forces together around an increasingly integrated portfolio of printers, MFPs, software and services. Through this integration, legacy Xerox clients and partners worldwide now have access through their sellers to the Lexmark® 9-Series line of printers, extending the company’s A3 platform with a line known for its versatility, simplicity, serviceability and sustainability.

Compatibility between Lexmark devices and Xerox® Managed Print Services, print solutions, app and Xerox® Workflow Central reinforces a consistent and scalable operating model across enterprise and departmental environments, including back office, retail, healthcare and manufacturing.

Xerox Transforms Document Processing with new AI-Assisted Xerox AltaLink 8200 Series Multifunction Printers

Today Xerox announced the Xerox^® AltaLink^® C8200 and Xerox^® AltaLink^® B8200 Series multifunction printers (MFPs). This new class of MFPs uses AI-assisted technology to securely automate repetitive and complex tasks and adapt to businesses’ evolving workplace needs as they accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

Leveraging award-winning Xerox^® ConnectKey^® technology, the MFPs arrive pre-loaded with AI-enabled applications that enable users to quickly summarize documents, convert handwritten notes and automatically redact sensitive documents. The AltaLink 8200 series also includes Xerox Adaptive Learning that utilizes AI-based algorithms to analyze usage patterns, learning from user behavior, and automatically adjusts device settings to streamline workflows for everyday tasks.

The printers also serve as a platform for a broad range of AI-assisted workflows, including Intelligent Document Processing, one of Xerox Digital Services.

Xerox Awarded $164M Contract by USDA to Streamline Practices, Increase Innovation

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded Xerox a 10-year, $164M contract for continued Managed Print Services, new Electronic Fax Services (EFS) and additional innovation across its agencies. The contract includes a total of up to 16,000 Xerox ConnectKey® devices, with a large number of new devices across 3,500+ offices supporting over 100,000 employees.

Using Xerox’s technology and innovative solutions, the USDA will cultivate best practices in print management, increase file security, create customized initiatives for Federal 508 compliance and better support its mobile workforce. This partnership helps the USDA cut costs while providing integrated managed print services (MPS) and EFS, using Xerox’s customized web portal designed to manage both services cohesively.

Xerox Awarded $194M Contract by Defense Logistics Agency

Xerox Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ: XRX) today announced that the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has awarded the company a $194 million indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide various multifunction device models in the A4 and A3 space to federal government agency customers, including the U.S. Navy, Military Sealift Command, Fleet Marine Forces, and Coast Guard, among others.

Xerox Launches ConnectKey-Enabled AltaLink Digital Workplace Assistant

Xerox announced its new Xerox AltaLink^® C8100 and Xerox AltaLink B8100 Series multi-function printers (MFPs), that can better support today’s flexible work environment and help companies speed their digital transformation with access to the ConnectKey^® ecosystem of apps.

In addition to its printing capabilities, the AltaLink 8100 series helps speed workplace digitization with ultra-fast scanning of up to 270 images per minute and Optical Character Recognition that allows clients to extract more value from information. Combined with ConnectKey apps, including connections to the most popular cloud solutions, these printers can support a key area of focus for businesses as they shift from physical to digital enterprises. According to a recent global Future of Work Survey by Xerox, 34% of businesses are expediting digital transformation plans as a result of COVID-19.

Xerox Acquires Altodigital and ITEC Connect, Expanding SMB Reach in Europe

Xerox has acquired two leading services and technology providers, Altodigital and ITEC Connect, in the U.K.

“We’re supporting small and midsize businesses seeking a modern work experience through two acquisitions in the U.K.,” said Xavier Heiss, EVP and president of EMEA Operations, Xerox. “Altodigital and ITEC are both leaders in managed print services and specialists in IT services, an area into which Xerox is rapidly expanding with new offerings.”

Both acquisitions have received government approval. Terms of the transactions were not disclosed. This is the third acquisition targeting the fast-growing SMB market this year. In January, Xerox announced the purchase of Arena Group, which provides office technology, software, solutions and services.

Xerox’s PrimeLink B9100 Series sets new standard in monochrome by printing documents better, faster and smarter.

Today Xerox announced the new Xerox PrimeLink^™ B9100 Series Multifunction Printer, which is the first multifunction printer designed to meet the productivity demands of the connected workforce.

The important documents in our lives - birth certificates, contracts, medical reports, exam results - are still predominantly printed in monochrome. In fact, 63 percent of all printing is still done in black and white.¹ It’s printing that is required, time critical and done at low cost.

Xerox Wins Intelligent Workplace Services Contract with BAE Systems

Global defense, aerospace and security company BAE Systems has selected Xerox’s Intelligent Workplace Services to secure and transform its print infrastructure while creating a more efficient work environment.

Throughout the five-and-a-half-year agreement, Xerox will utilize analytics software to manage and optimize BAE Systems’ print infrastructure, reducing costs and bolstering document security. Xerox will also introduce multifunction printers (MFPs) embedded with the ConnectKey^® platform and productivity apps to transform printing devices into smart, connected workplace assistants.

Xerox Intelligent Workplace Services exceeds the stringent security requirements set by the U.K.’s Ministry of Defense and the U.S. Department of Defense, and Xerox is the only provider to earn U.S. FedRAMP authorization for this service.
